The Vision Behind ACE Import Customs Brokerage
After graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Spanish, Steven Johnson began his career in the customs compliance industry in 2014 with an ABI Software Provider serving Customs Brokers, Importers, and Freight Forwarders.
As one of only four employees, he quickly gained hands-on experience across sales, support, training, consulting, and product development—building a deep understanding of the operational and compliance challenges businesses face when navigating U.S. Customs requirements.
Over the years, Steven’s expertise expanded beyond standard import filings to include complex trade operations such as AMS filings, Drawback, Reconciliation, Bonded Movements, Foreign Trade Zone Operations, and more. His experience working alongside importers, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Warehouse Operators, 3PLs, Trade Attorneys, and Global Trade Organizations has given him a practical, real-world perspective on what keeps supply chains moving efficiently—and what causes costly delays.
